Licensing & Updates
FlareWatch is $39 one-time. That purchase gives you access to the deployment wizard and includes 1 year of updates.
The deployed software itself is MIT-licensed open source. The paid license is for the hosted deployment experience at flarewatch.app, not a closed-source runtime.
What the $39 covers
- Access to the wizard at flarewatch.app
- One live deployment in one Cloudflare account at a time
- 1 year of update access for newer FlareWatch runtime versions
- A status page, monitor worker, KV storage, and optional DNS setup deployed into your Cloudflare account
Polar.sh is the merchant of record for purchases.
Your deployment keeps working
Renewal is not required to keep an existing deployment online. Once FlareWatch deploys workers and KV into your Cloudflare account, that runtime keeps serving from Cloudflare even if your update period expires.
That also means your deployed status page does not depend on an active subscription.
Update renewals
The $39 license includes 1 year of updates. After that, you can renew update access for $29 for 1 additional year.
You would renew when you want to run the wizard again and pull newer open-source FlareWatch runtime versions, including new features, bug fixes, or deployment improvements. If you are happy with the version already deployed, you can leave it running as-is.
When a license update period expires, the wizard shows the renewal option before deploying newer artifacts.
One deployment per account
One license covers one live deployment in one Cloudflare account at a time. License activations are bound to the Cloudflare account ID used in the wizard.
To move a license to another Cloudflare account, delete the current live deployment first, then run the wizard with the new account.
