Updating Your Deployment

To update, run the wizard again with the same account and load your existing deployment config.

  1. Open the wizard. If you're not connected, click Connect Cloudflare and approve. Redeploys reuse the saved connection, so there's usually no re-consent.
  2. Load existing config when prompted.
  3. Review monitors/branding/notifications/security/domain settings.
  4. Deploy.

What updates

  • monitor/status worker code (latest artifacts),
  • runtime config values you changed,
  • optional auth secrets and domain settings.

What is preserved by default

  • existing flarewatch-state KV data (history/incidents/maintenance),
  • deployment metadata and resource IDs,
  • unchanged secrets when using "keep existing" auth mode.

Removing monitors during an update deletes their check history. If you need to temporarily disable a monitor, consider changing its target rather than removing it.

You can opt into resetting history during an update if you want a clean state.

License renewal

Your license controls access to new runtime artifacts in the deployment wizard. Existing deployments continue to run regardless of license status -- renewal lets you pull the latest worker code when you update.

See Licensing & Updates for pricing and renewal details.
